Our client is a leading business network connecting German and Baltic companies in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. With extensive experience in international trade and strong ties to the German market, the company supports businesses in establishing and developing international partnerships. The company is currently seeking an experienced Senior Client Accountant to join its team and work in an international environment.
Main tasks, responsibilities:
- Full cycle accounting for company clients;
- Preparation of VAT returns and statistical reports;
- Payroll calculations;
- Preparation of annual reports;
- Representation of clients before the State Revenue Service and other state institutions;
- Communication with clients in Germany and other EU countries, i.e. consulting on tax issues;
- Active interaction with colleagues in the accounting department in other Baltic countries.
Requirements:
- Higher education in accounting, economics, or finance (may be incomplete);
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role;
- Experience in preparing tax returns;
- Good knowledge of Latvian legislation, especially VAT reporting, payroll accounting, and preparation of annual financial statements;
- Willingness to learn German legislation;
- Excellent Latvian and very good German language skills;
- Very good computer skills, especially MS Excel; experience with accounting systems (e.g. Briox);
- Independent, highly motivated, accurate, and reliable;
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with colleagues and clients;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage deadlines and large volumes of information, and to set clear priorities.

Salary (gross): starting from 2500 EUR, + bonuses based on achieved results. The final remuneration will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and knowledge.
Location: Riga or home office.
